What is a Kevah group?
A Kevah group is a group of friends who convene regularly to study Jewish texts. Each group of 8-12 people meets several times each month in someone’s home, office or a local cafe, and is open to participants and their friends. Kevah provides a dynamic teacher or a teacher’s guide, and classical Jewish texts in English translation. Kevah groups are open to people of all backgrounds and denominations.

Alongside our work with individual groups, Kevah consults with synagogues, federations and Jewish organizations about how to integrate Torah study into the culture and social fabric of the institution. Kevah partners with a range of organizations - the smallest with 60 members and the largest with 6000. Contact us for a free consultation.
How do I join a group?
Kevah’s staff tries to match new participants with an appropriate group. Kevah currently organizes groups in the San Francisco Bay Area, Denver, and Boulder. The majority of our participants are well-educated adults with minimal Jewish backgrounds. Some of our groups are for more mature adults and/or adults with stronger backgrounds in Jewish learning.

Kevah allows friends to connect around customized, intimate Jewish learning. Group organizers invite friends and acquaintances based on a common affinity to a given interest, stage of life or activity.

Kevah has groups in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Denver/Boulder area.
